Lymphatic Enhancement Technology

Treating lymphatic congestion is a holistic approach to gently detox the body for health and wellness.
Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET) is a gentle vibrational energy that unlocks the lymphatic cleansing channels. LET is a modality that delivers a non-thermal, low-frequency electrostatic energy that the therapist uses while performing lymphatic drainage. This energy increases lymphatic movement and removes toxins from your body. The LET has proved to be highly successful in treating Lymphedema and other medical conditions.

LET amplifies the body’s natural detoxification and decongestion systems. Treatment removes unwanted toxins that make the body feel sluggish and threaten health and wellness. The increased fluid movement carries waste products, bacteria, dead cells, and large protein molecules through the kidneys, bowels, skin, and lungs. LET treatment is an excellent start to getting back on track to good health with positive personal health habits. Not only is this holistic treatment an excellent preventative, but it is also a healing gift!

The Lymphatic System

What is the Lymphatic System?

The lymphatic system works as the “garbage truck,” hauling away toxins in the body.

The three main functions of the lymphatic system are:
Removing excess fluid from body tissues and returning it to the blood.
Absorbing fats and fat-soluble vitamins from the digestive system and transporting them to the venous circulation.
Defending the body against disease by removing foreign particles and making lymphocytes.

What is Lymphatic Congestion?

When flow throughout the body becomes sluggish, fluid can concentrate in the form of swelling or impaired functioning in the lymph system (called congestion). When congestion is long-lasting, a blockage can form and cause a backup in the free flow of lymph.

This reduces healthy blood flow to the tissue, interferes with wound healing, and enables bacterial growth. As a result, toxic cellular waste cannot exit the body, increasing the risk of infection and physical illness.

Causes of Lymphatic Congestion

Lymphatic congestion can be caused by a wide variety of things, such as:
Trauma
Surgeries
Cancer-Related Interventions
Infections
Severe Burns
Vascular Inadequacies
Birth Defects
Electronic and Chemical Pollutants
Air Pollutants
Drugs
Herbicides
Pesticides
Poor Health-Inducing Lifestyle Choices:  Tight Clothing, Lack of Exercise, Unhealthy Food or Abuse of Food, Dehydration, Negative Emotions, Hormonal Changes, Chronic Stress, and Fatigue

Lymphatic Congestion Conditions

As toxins accumulate and lymphatic congestion goes untreated, cells are unable to function, resulting in metabolic and infectious problems, such as:
Chronic Headaches
Cancer-Related Interventions
Skin Conditions
Chronic Sinusitis
Repetitive Infections
Frequent Colds and Flu
Fibromyalgia
Edema/Inflammation
Anxiety
Chest and Shoulder Stiffness
Autoimmune Disorders
Premenstrual Syndrome
Post Surgical Orthopedic Edema
Arthritis-Related Pain
GI Issues: Poor Digestion, Bloating, Cramping, and IBS

How This Affects the Rest of Your Body

Lymphatic System + Immune System

The immune system shares all the same organs as the lymphatic system. Keeping the lymphatic system functioning is genuinely our lifeline to good health. A stronger lymphatic system means a more resilient and reactive immune response and defense!

Lymphatic System + Digestive System

The lymphatic system plays a vital role in the absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins from the digestive system and transports these nutrients back to the bloodstream. Lymphatic drainage can help mobilize any stuck proteins, fats, and trapped fluids.

Lymphatic drainage provided by LET is an effective and proven way to help reduce symptoms and kick-start a healthy digestive process. Treatment can help to reduce digestive issues which may include: abdominal pain, reflux, stomach bloating, diarrhea, cramping, constipation, and nausea.

Lymphatic System + Circulatory System

The lymphatic system is a subsystem of the circulatory system. Together, the blood, heart, and blood vessels form the circulatory system. The lymphatic system (lymph, lymph nodes, and lymph vessels) supports the circulatory system. It drains excess fluids and proteins from tissues and deposits them back into the bloodstream, preventing tissue swelling.

Lymphatic System + Endocrine System

The thymus gland is a vital organ of both the lymphatic and endocrine systems. Both systems contribute to the immune system to ensure homeostasis in the body. The body's T-cells come from this gland's hormone production. The T-cells help protect the body from infection and may help fight cancer.

Lymphatic System + Skeletal System

The skeletal and lymphatic systems have more in common than what meets the eye. Bone Marrow is a lymphatic organ where white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets are made. Without the skeletal system, the lymphatic system would not have the blood cells to help protect the body. Muscle contraction is the primary pump for moving lymphatic fluid.
